Incfection

You are a young, stubborn and daredevil-kind of guy who fears nothing. You grew up on the street amongst criminals in an area where weapons and drugs were circulating freely, which made you experienced in these fields. Years went by, and your daily routine started to tear you down, piece by piece. 

 During this time you had established a multitude of relationships, some more shallow than the other, but there was one person that was stuck deep inside your mind. Her name was Aria. Sickness hit her badly, and being the kind of guy you are, trying to help her despite the fact that you have zero knowledge in the medic field, you began looking for help. 

 You brought her to the local hospital, but it was fruitless. The physicians and experts said that she had a dangerous, non-treatable disease in her brain that devoured her from the inside. After much time of reflection, you decided that there must be some way to help her. Lingering and searching through the land, you eventually found an institution that specializes in diseases of the brain. Upon entering the institution, she was immediately taken in for examination. 

 She was hooked up to tons of machines, monitoring her thoroughly for days. Upon realizing yet again that it was hopeless, the scientists resorted to one last idea. They had recently invented a method to transfer one consciousness to another, to enter another persons brain. 

 You immediately signed up for this risky procedure, but saving her is all that you cared for. They hooked you up to a strange device, connecting you to your deeply beloved Aria. Both of you were sedated, and fell asleep immediately. 

 This is where your adventure begins, you conjure weapons with your mind into physical shape to help you fend off the infection in an attempt to save her.
You traverse the consciousness with the help of your trusted weaponry, jumping skills, and powerups found scattered throughout the level.  With all of these attributes at your disposal, you fare deep into the consciousness through portals to search for the root infection.

This game was made in 4 weeks by me, Michael Håkansson.
I'm attending to the 2018 Game Programming class at YRGO.
